Mike Salerno is the founder of Executive Wealth & Retirement Strategies, where he specializes in helping clients navigate the complexities of retirement planning. With a focus on preserving lifestyle, growing assets and building lasting legacies, Mike designs, implements and reviews highly personalized retirement income strategies that are stress-tested for extreme market conditions. His philosophy is simple yet powerful – his role is not to make clients rich, but to help ensure they never become poor, and his plans are built for tough times, not just the good.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management, Mike holds an impressive array of professional designations, including CFP®, AIF®, ChFC®, CRPC™, CRPS™, RICP® and CASL®. Known for his empathy and deep listening skills, he forges lasting relationships where clients feel heard, understood and supported, often becoming a trusted sounding board for both financial and personal decisions.
Originally from Hillsborough, New Jersey, Mike now resides in Sergeantsville, New Jersey, with his wife, Mandy. They have two adult daughters, Emma and Abby. Outside of work, Mike enjoys playing guitar, exercising, reading, boating and spending quality time with his family.
